Natural Products Expo West 2025 will once again be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA March 4-7. Organizers expect 65,000 attendees at this year’s show.

The event features an adjusted show schedule designed to increase return on investment, reduce crowding, allow for more buyer only hours and simplify product discovery, organizers said. Buyer only hours include retail buyers, hosted buyers, food service buyers and health practitioners.

The main trade show will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 5-6, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 7. Buyer only hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on March 6-7.

Show Highlights

March 4

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Natural Products Business School will be held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom F. From growing retail distribution to securing aligned funding, the event features six hours of interactive programming. It is designed for emerging brands and will help develop new relationships with peers and industry experts through education sessions, workshops and a networking lunch.

The Fresh Ideas Organic Marketplace will be held from noon to 5 p.m. This innovative outdoor event combines the appeal of a traditional farmers’ market with the hustle and bustle of an industry trade show. Enjoy a wide range of certified organic products and the latest in organic trends.

From 1 to 5 p.m., the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) will host its annual Herb Walk at the Fullerton Arboretum located on the campus of California State University-Fullerton. The arboretum features more than 4,000 plant species from around the world. Attendees will learn about culinary and medicinal herbs and their uses from a faculty of renowned herbalists. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the Anaheim Hilton.

Debuting at the 2025 show is the Expo West Block Party, which will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. The kick-off event will feature live music, food and networking.

The Naturally Network Power Up Experience & Happy Hour will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. This kick-off event creates a space for emerging brand founders to connect with industry leaders, professionals and companies. Separate registration is required with light appetizers and drink tickets included.

The Natural Products Expo West Pitch Slam will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis Ballroom Center. This event features pitches from 10 emerging brands, a Q&A with expert judges and a community celebration.

March 5

A keynote titled “The State of Natural & Organic” will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Marriott Marquis Center. The featured speakers are Kathryn Peters of SPINS, Jessica Rubino of New Hope Network and Nick McCoy of Whipstitch Capital. This informative keynote will highlight product trends, industry insights, business strategy and product innovation.

From 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hilton California B, Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN) will host its Gender Equity in Nutraceuticals Networking Event. The reception is focuses on how to achieve economic and societal equity to transform the global nutraceuticals industry. Supporting gender parity from the boardroom to the research lab benefits businesses, empowers women to unlock their potential and benefits consumer health.

An Organic Night Out: Honoring The Year’s Best in Organic is a ticketed event that aims to support and advance the organic movement. It is hosted by The Organic Center and Organic Voices and will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Marketed as the “Organic Oscars,” organic stakeholders will enjoy dinner and networking while taking in a one-of-a-kind awards show while learning about research on consumer education, crop production, soil health, food safety, climate, sustainability, etc.

Evenings on the Plaza will be held at the Grand Plaza from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 5-6. The event features a concert with a variety of musical guests. This year’s performers are The War and Treaty on March 5 and Margo Price on March 6.

March 6

A Community Brunch will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Marriott East Lot Tent. It is free and is open to all attendees and exhibitors to connect with their peers and clients.

HIVE Interactive will host a keynote titled “AI Unleashed: The Human Element Amplified” from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Marriott Marquis Ballroom Center. HIVE Interactive’s CEO Mitch Mitchem and CCO David Hanscom, will share how AI tools can enhance our work and allow us to spend time being more creative and doing what we love.

The annual NEXTY Awards Ceremony and Celebration will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is a prom-inspired celebration of the future of CPG. Attendees will be able to ask their favorite brand to dance or offer up fanciful corsages and boutonnieres. Throwback dresses and suits are encouraged.

The LGBTQ+ Allies Networking Reception will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Expo West strives to promote diversity and inclusion for LGBTQ+ peers and colleagues. Join community members and allies for an evening of drinks, networking and fun. The Naturally Proud Network will highlight a local non-profit which has been advocating, supporting and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community.

Registration

Expo West is open to retailers, health practitioners, distributors, brokers, suppliers, raw ingredient distributors, manufacturers, private labelers, business services, investors, consultants and other industry professionals.

Attendees will have the opportunity to establish an industry presence, expand domestic distribution, meet existing customers, generate leads, increase brand awareness and introduce new products, according to show organizers.
